6 July 2007 . Thousands of Tibetans gathered Dalai Lama temple to celebrate the 72 birthday of His Holiness the Fourteenth Dalai Lama. Earlier in the morning, all assambled at Tharthorling to perform Sangsor ( Incense burning offering) to ward off the obsticals that may occur in the life of His Holiness as Tibtan astrology has that the every twelfth year of a person is an obstical year for the person. The celebration was joined by many Indian and Tibetan high dignitaries. A series of entertaiments have been performed by various artist and also children from schools as well.

12 April 2007. Tibetan and French Student Exchange ( TFSE) continued for the year of 2007. Eighteen french pupils visited Dharamsala for five days. During their stay, various activities were undertaken in effort to benefit french and Tibetan students involved in the exchange program. French students were also introduced to Tibetan history, culture and present situation. The benefit from this exchange, included donations of stationary and other materials brought by the french students. They enjoyed very much in staying with Tibetan refugee families that were compensated fair amount of money for accomadation. French students developed deep love in people and places of Tibetan community and Dharamsala and shed tears while abiding farewell.

17 April 2007. The editorial members of the Tibetan Children's Treasure newsletter, met around eighty senior Tibetan teachers (from CST schools all over India) that have come to attend a special teacher's training provided by the Department of Education, at Sara college. During the interaction, our editorial members recieved tremendous appreciation and encouragements for our work, from the teachers. Most importantly, teachers reflected with valuable suggestions to be made to the newsletter regarding content and font sizes. We were extremely thankful to Mr. Tsering Samdup la : the Secretary of Traditonal Academic Section DOE, allowing us to use a part of the time of their tightly scheduled training.

2006. Tibetan Children’s Education Center (TCEC) has successfully hosted its first ever Exchange Program in Co-operation with Zigo Tours (a French organization) of 40 teenagers on the first two groups. TCEC arranged ten Tibetan local families in Mcleod Ganj with whom the French students stayed to learn experience Tibetan Culture and tradition. Amongst the programs, the French group was briefed to the history of Tibet, Chinese invasion of Tibet, Exile Tibetan Community by the following resource persons from both Tibetan exile government and Non-governmental organization.Ven. Ngawang Woebar; The President of the Gu-Chu-Sum Movement of Tibet (Ex-political Prisoners Association) and Mrs. Masood and Tenzing Tsultrim from the Department of Information and International Relationship (CAT)
